I really love doing memes but I am so picky about which ones I do these days. Plus super busy! But yesterday I was feeling really ill so I did memes to pass the time. Today I am posting them for your viewing pleasure. lol (next post will be less frivolous....promise!)

Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice: 
Leverage (it’s still airing though), Community (ditto) , Avatar: the last airbender, Spaced, Ashes to Ashes, Life on Mars, Pysch (well almost every episode) The Chappelle Show (actually I think I’ve seen most of the episodes 3 maybe 4 times…), Supersizers, Salute Your Shorts and the Adventures of Pete and Pete ( however my second viewing of both these shows was over 10 years after the first time I watched lol) Oh oh and Angry Beavers, pretty much I think. (goddamit Viacom, where is my DVD?) oh and probably Rugrats and Hey Arnold too but I am not so sure about those.

Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
hmm, oh well if any of the actors of my current fave shows do other shows after this I’d be more inclined to watch said shows. Though I really watch for a favorite writer or an interesting plot, rarely for a particular actor. 

Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Keanu Reeves, he’s just so WOODEN. Robin Williams, too cheesy and I want to say Tom Cruise cause he’s too smirky and smarmy but damn I did love his Lestat. I am torn!

Name a show you can, and do, quote from.
It’s funny, I am terrible at quoting shows. Like I remember proverbs and whole poems and song lyrics without much trouble but I always forget tv quotes even for shows I love and I rarely know when to interject them into conversation appropriately :( 

Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
I don’t know about NO ONE else, but there really needs to be more Leverage fans!
 
Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Pysch! “I know you know, that I’m not tellin the truth” and Community “I cant count the reasons I should stay~ one by one they all just fade away, do do” and True Blood has an awesome theme song, I don’t know if I’ve I make it a habit to sing though lol. Oh and the Malcom in the Middle theme song. That was a fun one. I don’t now about sing, but I definitely hum the theme song to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia a lot. 

Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
Leverage! Community! I would also recommend Spaced to anyone who loves Simon Pegg and or is a huge geek or pop culture junkie. It’s just a brilliant funny and geektastic show full of pop culture references and an adorable Simon Pegg (and Nick Frost!). Also It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which to me is hysterical.

Leverage S1, IASiP S1-4, Adv of Pete & Pete, Salute your Shorts (I burned this one on a dvd rather than bought it but technically, I DO own it lol) Spaced, State of Play, LOM , A2A, Hex, Are you afraid of the dark? S1, I also have a bunch of asian dramas I burned in their entirety onto various dvds. 

What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
I…this is impossible to answer lol. I have more than one fave show and more than one fave episode! Well I'll do one series then (or I'd be at this for ages lol) Leverage – Bank Shot Job, First David Job, Two Live Crew Job, Iceman Job.

A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Burn Notice (I started but got distracted) The Wire, Lost (I used to watch it, dropped it and now I am thinking of picking it back up again) and a shit load of Korean dramas. (don’t ask) I also keep meaning to watch more Classic Doctor Who (I’ve only seen a bit of doctors 4 and 7’s series so far)

Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
LOL. I have quite so many shows. Heroes, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Rescue Me, Life (it started out so great too) Gossip Girl, Glee, The Mentalist and most recently Merlin.  

Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
Dollhouse, 24, NCIS, Bones (my dad recently fell in love with this show and keeps asking me what I dislike it so much lol) 

Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
Community made me cry XD that one episode of Lost that centered on Mr Eko’s past made me cry my eyes out. Oh and the final ep of New Doctor Who’s first series (the end of Nine ;_;) other than that it’s mostly been movies to make me cry. 

Oldest TV show you like?
Oldest as in how old the show is or or how long I’ve been watching it? Let’s go with the former, I would say Doctor Who but I haven’t seen much Classic Who and New Who started in 05, so really the oldest ones I like would be those nick shows: are you afraid of the dark, salute your shorts, adv of pete and pete. All from the early to mid 90’s.

What do you eat when you watch TV?
if I eat anything it's popcorn, yogurt or a banana.

How often do you watch TV?
for as long as my show is on. I only turn on the tv to watch my weekly programs or the occasional movie or IMF and LinkTv videos.

Do you have a favorite talk show?
The Daily Show and the Colbert Report are the only talk shows I’ve ever been able to stand (I love those guys <3)

What's the last TV show you watched?
White Collar. episode 9 :D

What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
don’t have one. I enjoy a mix of genres generally (I love a show that can mix humor and drama well and effectively use both as central to the plot) 

What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Reality tv, Soap operas, and most science fiction shows. (I really dont know why, I dont dislike  it in theory but somehow the way most sci fi novels or tv shows go I just end up feeling very bored or annoyed. Yes even Battlestar Galactica. Doctor Who is a rare exception and that’s in part because they will occasionally go back in time, which I LOVE.)

What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Sailor Moon! and Power Rangers. And if you REALLY wanna go back far, then My Little Pony. I loved that show and I am not ashamed! (mostly cause I was 7 at the time) the funny thing was I didn’t really care about owning any ponies…

What TV show do you wish you never watched?
Glee, it lied and deceived me into thinking it was a sweet and fun harmless show! Only to slap me in the face with racism and irritating stereotypes and finally latent misogyny *curses* But otherwise it’s rare I hate a show so much that I wish I never watched it even after I drop it from my watch list. 

What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Doctor Who, Lost, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes. There may be others but I can’t think of them. 

What TV show scared you the most?
oh man any episode of doctor who that Stephan Moffat wrote, *still creeped out by Blink* and that one about evil sun aliens or something. Oh and any episode from are you afraid of the dark that involved clowns. I HATE CLOWNS. And that one with the creepy specs. *shudders* still gives me the heebs! That’s all I can think of though.

What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
The Chappelle Show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community and Psych all make/made me laugh real hard. (oh do Looney Tunes count? Cause those hilarious too)

Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
I have no idea. That’s a hard decision to make! I suspect when I see The Wire I’ll choose that one as that is what everyone who has seen it told me.

this is sooo late and I dont know if you are gonna see it but I wanted to reply. I spent the last few days studying like crazy for my math test so i was barely online. I just caught up with my flist this morning.

anyway, yes I did quit TM. It happened naturally, I realized I didnt enjoy the episodes as much anymore and when the show went on break I just had no desire to continue. So I deleted it from my dvr and decided it was time to move on.
I really want to sit down and watch lost again one day, but because there's so much to catch up with and I am just SO busy. I dont see it happening anytime soon :(
It should please you to knoww that I have decided to give vampire diaries another go :) the are at least two other people on my flist aside from you who gush about it often and the squee about events of a recent episode convinced me that I was missing out. Plus, bonnie! (now I have a legit reason to sing "my bonnie lies over the ocean" outloud)

3. Bones... eh. I have watched it from the beginning so I can't give up on it now, but it's pretty craptastic so you're not missing much.

It's not that it's so bad it's just the same shit over and over. and I just finally realized it's never gonna improve. in marginalizing the girls and resetting arthur and merlin's relationship over and over, and excusing the awfulness of uther. add to that the complete character assasination of Morgana. Tv is great for unwinding after a long hard day. that's how i use it. but even I cant watch it as much as I used to :( busy times man. most of the shows mentioned on that meme are old or long finished.

but but, NCIS is just so wonderful and gets better with every season! can't say much about 24 though but I still love it to bits...I'd totally recommend that you try watching NCIS though especially from the 3rd season onwards, if just for the chemistry and humor...seriously, the cast in the show has one of the best chemistry ever defeating every other cop shows like CSI or even Criminal Minds! I like Leverage too, but I honestly thing the chemistry between the 6 main stars of NCIS beats the show LOL! and the characters development is executed well too...I was actually surprised when I found out only late last year that NCIS is like the top show in the US and just one of those rare shows that ratings get higher each season (well getting from 6 mil viewers in the first season to 20 mil in the current one is great, no?)...it's a delightful surprise for me...:)

Not to burst your bubble but I really hate procedurals. I am amazed I could stand lie to me or the mentalist even but I am getting bored of both (well already bored of TM). they are just not my cup of tea.

LOL I can understand that though...I've some friends like that too, but once they realize that NCIS goes beyond procedural and more on the character development they totally love it :) I've been watching Leverage too but the way I see it, NCIS goes really deep into the characters development and history, way way deeper than Leverage...while I don't watch NCIS mainly for the cases, I'm watching it mainly for the story...and they've been played out very cleverly too :)

if one day you do decide to start watching NCIS though, I think you can never start with halfway through the seasons like any other LtM or TM series, because NCIS do have background stories for the characters in every episode and you could really get lost in them...so maybe, restarting NCIS is going to be an overwhelming considering that the show is already in its 7th season...

And brilliant, I'm not the only one who finds myself humming the IASIP theme song (as well as singing the one from Malcolm In The Middle). Also, hell yes to IASIP being one of the funniest shows ever.

And I may have been a little obsessed with Sailor Moon when I was younger as well. SAILOR JUPITER FTW! Who said that?

Hee it's so catchy! and yay another Malcolm fan. It really reminded me almost eerily so of my family, so Malcom in the Middle was so funny and appealing to me. Seriously the resemblance of my brother to reese was uncanny (personality wise lol) I'm so sad ISASIP is on break now ;_;

HEE! I loved sailor jupitor! Her and Sailor moon were my faves in the anime (but in the live action my favorite was Rei/Mars <3 and THEN jupiter and moon XD) mostly cause I had a friend alot like jupiter back then. I miss her sometimes ;_;

You know, I might just do it tomorrow. I wanted to do a biggish TV-related post anyway, so it would fit quite nicely.

There have been re-runs of Malcolm down here recently, and I had forgotten how much I used to like that show when I was a kid. Hal and Lois were adorable together, and, now that I think about it, Francis may be the cause of the thing I have for slacker characters. ;p

I need IASIP back in my life now, damn it. There is no show airing at the moment which fills me with as much perverse joy as that show does.

I think that Sailor Jupiter may have been my first (or, my second, after Wednesday Addams) real girl crush. I had a Sailor Jupiter doll and everything. *facepalm*

Also, in other news, I heard today that the tentative startng time for A2A is the end of March (it started in April last year, which is where I think I remembered that month from).

Misfits icon! <333 you know I could only find one other person on my fliist who was watching that show? it was mega sad. It's such a fun show and more people should be watching it! Nathan was annoying at first but damn he really does grow on you after a while. I think my faves were curtis and kelly though. Esp Kelly <3

Hee I was a total francis as a kid, alwyas causing trouble. I started to mellow out in highschool though. So i didnt have to go to boot camp! lol

See I miss ISASIP but luckily I have other shows making me laugh too. I'd totally recommened Community. It's hilarious and a little bit wrong, though nowhere as twisted as Sunny, but I think it sspeaks to my heart even more than Sunny did. (Maybe cause I go to a community college lol)
Awwww that's adorable. I think my first girl crush was Gwen Stefani XD. I was a huge No Doubt fan when I was a kid/in the 90's.

I have to wait that long ;_; and by the time it starts earing it'll be almost time for finals at my school! D:

Heh, Misfits is one of the reasons I want to do a TV post, because I haven't talked about yet, and I need more converts. Nathan reminded me to much of that twat from school who you find yourself laughing at on occasion, only to feel guilty about it because he is that twat. However, then the scene in my icon happened, and he was just awesome after that. ;p My faves are definitely Simon and Kelly though. How can you not adore someone who is as openly chav-ish as Kelly?

Half of my f'list seem to completely adore Community, so I'll definitely be checking it out.

The end of March is so far away. :s However, they haven't even stopped filming yet, so I'm guessing that may be the thing that is holding it up.

Nathan was a TOTAL twat. But he was a pretty funny and entertaining twat so he managed to endear himself to me all the same by the end. But it certainly took a while. I kept wishing Simon would go apeshit on him one day but alas instead we get simon trying to save Nathan and failing. How very fitting though that his power was invulernability. The finale closing scene with him sitting the coffin and being like "oh fuck it" and turning on his music? Perfect. I laughed so hard, and it was just so right for Nathan's character. The great thing about misfits though is that everyone is very flawed. Simon is creepy, Alisha was pretty wild and often superficial, Kelly is a bit tempermental and Curtis...well hell curtis is actually pretty cool, he just made one mistake. But man they are all really fascinating. I do love Kelly and her ghetto fabulous self, which is a term they dont really use in the UK but it is very fitting for Kelly I think. She rocks her chavy ways!

That is exactly what I love about Misfits as well. One word that could loosely be applied to them is the term "antiheroes", but it still doesn't quite fit, because two of them have actually killed people, and people who, in larger society, would be seen as the good guys. Typically, this would make them the villains of the story, but they aren't (well, they are, in the sense that they are actually criminals, but you know what I mean.) They're just human beings who are trying to deal with these extraordinary events in the only way that they know how to.
