Fall season dramas

I've been watching dramas again lately. So far I'm just watching Ryuusei no Kizuna and Blood Monday. I also have been watching a Kdrama called "Capital Scandal"

Since I plan on making a dramas centric post on these dramas another time i'll just speak briefly about them now. I know some people seem annoyed/disappointed/worried about RnK lately but I am TOTALLY enjoying it and the angst even. I just love kudokan's style and I appreciate the extra depth and seriousness the novel's story brings to this drama. I also can say for the firs time ever, I've totally enjoyed watching Ryo's character in a drama. I just was never very moved before by him, Sousuke was not he OMG AMAZING performance for me that it was for the majority of fandom. Neither was Asou-kun or that kid he played in Gambatte ikkimashoi. However I feel like Ryo totally brings to life the character of Taisuke and I'm getting such a kick out of watching him! I nearly died at him playing a b-boy in ep 5 and playing a creepy otaku type in ep 7. Not to mention his chemistry with the lovely toda erika is really high, I am such a ShiixTai shipper, that scene with him and her by the beach? ADORABLE <3 Though I know they wont work out in the end I like to dream XD plus maybe ryo will get erika to fall for him somehow, they'd be a cute couple dun lie!
For Blood Monday, I am quite enjoying the action packed and fast paced story, even if the majority of the characters feel rather thin and un-engaging to me. But hey at least it's not boring. So far I'm only up to ep 3, so I'll come back with more to say when I get farther in the drama.
Also worth mentioning is my latest kdrama obsession, Capital Scandal. I actually dont love it as much now as when I first started but the male cast is VERY appealing *__* but my biggest crush is on Song joo a total femme fatale and without a doubt the most complex, amazing badass character in the whole drama. Seriously you guys I'd watch it all again just for HER. I'm not really very into the main couple which sadly gets most of the airtime but all the other pairings and character interactions I enjoy greatly. It's not as good as having an 8 member eito again but I think it's waaaay better than how it was 1 year ago when Uchi's name wasnt even allowed to be uttered.

Yeah just to have Uchi openly interacting with the rest of eito is enough for me. Ohh those recomens would be awesome XD

I've not been very keen on dramas lately. I've only seen one episode of Ryuusei no Kizuna, and I though I d like Ryo's Taisuke, I just don't feel motivated to continue it. But next season is Eita and Toma in Voice :]

No one will take Uchi's place in the group, so even if he cant be there in physically, Uchi will always hold a place within eito in spirit ^_^

Thank u for saying that. I try to feel that way if it's really the case that Uchi's not coming back. But like u said, either way it's a big improvement from last year when u can't even catch a glimpse of him. Either way he's always gonna be special to Eito fans, at least I hope so.

I am a ShiixTai Shipper too!1 I am so sad that Shii fell in love with Togami and doesn't feel the same way Taisuke does. ): And heheh, u're right, TodaRyo does make a cute couple. And I like BM very much, I have a habit of giving up doramas halfway but so far BM is so suspenseful and everything that I keep chasing it. XDD

It's hard to imagine Uchi as a solo artist but I take your point about that even that way it means he can do all those stuff like be a guest on recomen and that will be totally awesome.

RnK is so good I like how much chemistry is between the 3 main actors and Ryo and Erika Toda really make a good pair. I have to say that one of my favorite moments is when Taisuke is disguised as a street dancer and comes inside the restaurant were Shii is swindling her friend teacher, the whole scene was pure crack and then we had that lovely beach scene, also in drama terms there's one were Koichi is remembering when lhe was little and telling his sibblings how many toys they could bring to the orphanage the switching between kid actors and their adult version was so well done that I was surprised.

i am TOTALLY enjoying RnK too! and taisuke is definitely ryo's best role yet. but i mean how can anyone hate any character that is somewhat written by Kudokan. so ryo definitely got the right acting job this time coz Last Friends kinda did worse for his acting career than otherwise.

i have no recollections of kusano's interactions with news whatsoever but he seemed like a nice guy so, whatever goes. heh. but your uchi paragraph is so positive, i love it. ♥♥♥ XD as much as i like the idea, i do think it's very unlikely for uchi to return to eito. they made it seemed all complicated and such. but hmm...can't wait for the outcome of his solo cons and like, the final judgement. hah. i think the jimusho owes us a proper closure or something about what's going to happen to these guys.

The Uchi thing is such a drama fest. :( I pretty much feel how you do. If he comes back, I'll be cool with it; and if he doesn't, I'll be cool with it. I don't think it's likely he'll come back either. But who knows? I'm not a huge fan of his, but I like him.

RnK is an awesome drama. I love everything: the acting, the soundtrack, the crack. ♥ And Shii and Yukinari are so cute together. <3

Episode 8 was awesome. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

OMG SOMEONE OTHER THAN ME LIKES TAI x SHII~ ♥ ;_;

LOL i feel so alone in my Tai/Shii shipping sometimes, the only one i talk to who watches it is kind of unhappy about the Tai/Shii and everyone else seems to just think it's weird T_T; I saw it coming from the beginning and now that it's definitely canon i'm like :D but i swear I'm like the only one who would be happy if they would end up together! (even though I know they won't, coz it'll be about Tai and Koichi having to like grow up from their dependencies on each other and stuff)

As much as i DID love Ryo in LF and OLoT there was totally still some... "stiffness"? to his acting? Though I could see him improving even if i don't think he was perfect.... but Taisuke just seems really comfortable and natural and OMG SO ADORABLE ^^;; Even if Ryo says the character is very different from him, I think all his inner dorky-spaz(but with a bit of a serious side) gets to come out in this character which makes it really sparkle and feel natural. I dunno I adore Taisuke. :P

I'm happy I'm not the only one who still likes it this far in :))

I've been so worried about the fates of Kusano and Uchi that I'm just going to sit back and not debate about it anymore. Great to read the thoughts of others, though!
